Many people may be willing to pay more for a familiar brand, such as Razer. If they already own Razer peripherals and want to synchronize them with the Razer software, they may be especially likely to do so.
At the moment, ASUS offers the best value for a gaming laptop. The TUF F15 model is available for around $800, which is much cheaper than Razer model. However, if you want to compare laptops with similar specifications, then you’ll need to get a ROG model. Overall, ASUS provides the best bang for your buck when it comes to gaming laptops.

Razer is the most luxurious brand on this list. If you’ve read about the Razer peripherals article of last month, then you know that they are typically expensive at everything they sell. I like to call it the “Razer tax”! If you’re looking for a budget-friendly gaming laptop, your options are almost nonexistent with the cheapest one starting at around $1500. Maybe you can get one for $1000 on Black Friday.
The average price tag for a Razer laptop is around $2500-$4000. Although they are significantly more expensive than other brands, Razer laptops are able to retain low temperatures while gaming. For example, an Alienware or ASUS laptop can reach up to 100 °C, whereas a Razer laptop will hover around the 80-85 °C range.
Build Quality – Design

I completely agree with you! I also think that Razer could easily be the winner in the build quality category, but I went with Alienware just for the looks of it. The design of Razer laptops is quite basic and somewhat reminiscent of MacBooks; they virtually resemble a black MacBook with the green snake emblem on top. However, I’ve always enjoyed highly industrial designs, like those found on Alienware laptops. They just look so much more impressive to me!

Asus makes some of my favorite laptops in terms of aesthetics. However, the cheaper cost I noted before has a negative impact on the inferior construction quality. By no means am I claiming that these are subpar computers – just that they don’t quite live up to the same standards as other Asus laptops.
If you want to buy a laptop with the best quality, you need to be prepared to spend more money. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus is an amazing laptop, but if you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, the TUF models are a bit lower in terms of build quality.
